Our Story The Schpuddies came to life in an unexpected place—as part of a children’s menu created for an Austrian-German fast casual restaurant concept centered around bratwurst and potatoes. They were originally meant to entertain young guests while they waited for their meals, but something unexpected happened along the way.

As each playful potato took shape, they began to develop personalities of their own. They weren’t just drawings anymore. They had different strengths, different flaws, distinct voices, and friendships that felt real. Before long, it was clear they needed a place to call home. That place became Deeproot—a hidden world beneath Bramblepatch Farm, where glowing tunnels wind through ancient roots and every adventure begins with curiosity. One idea led to another, and what started as a handful of sketches slowly became a cast of unforgettable characters and a world filled with friendship, courage, adventure, and a little everyday magic.

Today, the Schpuddies continue to grow beyond those first drawings, inspiring stories, toys, books, and, one day, animated adventures that encourage children to embrace their differences, believe in themselves, and discover that the greatest magic is often found in friendship.

Once one of the most beautiful farms in the county, Bramblepatch was full of overflowing harvests, barn dances, and laughter that carried through the fields. But after violent storms, failed crops, and the mysterious disappearance of the family who once lived there, the farm fell silent and slowly faded into rumor. Far below the surface, Deeproot thrives. Glowing root tunnels twist through the earth like living veins, connecting mossy burrows, lantern groves, secret gardens, and bustling market paths. Warm lanterns hang from curling vines, underground streams shimmer through smooth stone channels, and pale mushrooms cast soft blue and golden light across the caverns.

Though hidden beneath the earth, Deeproot is full of warmth, wonder, and life. Young Schpuddies race through winding tunnels, their laughter echoing through the roots, while neighbors trade goods gathered from their underground world.
